Social Innovation for Active Inclusion: Collection of good practices

Innovation in social policies at city level plays an important role in the active inclusion of people furthest away from the labour market.

The nine cities - Birmingham, Bologna, Brno, Copenhagen, Krakow, Lille Métropole-Roubaix, Rotterdam, Stockholm and Sofia - carried out research on innovative practices for active inclusion at local level.

The practices show how new social trends and challenges constantly prompt local governments to adapt and develop new ways to implement active inclusion policies. They reflect on examples of innovative partnerships, integrated approaches, dealing with complex situations and groups in society, and bottom-up approaches.
