If you are planning an event between 13 April and 9 June 2019, you can now register here as an EU Green Week 2019 partner event!
The theme of EU Green Week 2019
Any type of event is eligible, as long as it is relevant to the theme of EU Green Week 2019 ‘Take the initiative! Applying environmental legislation’. In March 2019, the European Commission will publish a second round of reports on the state of implementation of environmental laws in Europe, the so-called Environmental Implementation Review. This is why the EU Green Week 2019 will focus on environmental laws and the process of environmental implementation.
What is a EU Green Week Partner Event?
An EU Green Week Partner Event is an event that will take place in the month around the actual Green Week, so from 13 April until 9 June 2019, and where the topic of the event is based on the EU Green Week 2019 theme. Any type of event is eligible, be it a workshop, a presentation, a study visit, an open-door day or an online event, etc. The only requirement is that it needs to be relevant to the theme of EU Green Week 2019.
Please note that this does not mean that the event has to focus exclusively on laws and policies. Your event could highlight, for example, what your environmental actions have achieved, their positive impacts on people, cities, nature, businesses and so forth. Activities can take place at all levels (local, regional, national or European level). For further details please find below the Guidelines for EU Green Week Partner Events.
For more information, take a look at the guidelines. The deadline for Partner Event applications is 15 March 2019.
Being part of EU Green Week is the opportunity to show off the achievements of your organisation or city to a wider audience, don’t miss this opportunity!
