Time to plan your #EUGreenWeek 2019 Partner Event!

  • environment

The registration procedure for EU Green Week partner events is not yet open, but it’s time to give some important information to start planning your partner event.
In March 2019, the European Commission will publish a second round of reports on the state of implementation of environmental laws in Europe, the so-called Environmental Implementation Review. This is why the EU Green Week 2019 will focus on environmental laws and the process of environmental implementation.
What is a EU Green Week Partner Event?
An EU Green Week Partner Event is an event that will take place in the month around the actual Green Week, so from 13 April until 9 June 2019, and where the topic of the event is based on the EU Green Week 2019 theme. Any type of event is eligible, be it a workshop, a presentation, a study visit, an open-door day or an online event, etc. The only requirement is that it needs to be relevant to the theme of EU Green Week 2019.

Please note that this does not mean that the event has to focus exclusively on laws and policies. Your event could highlight, for example, what your environmental actions have achieved, their positive impacts on people, cities, nature, businesses and so forth. Activities can take place at all levels (local, regional, national or European level). For further details please find below the Guidelines for EU Green Week Partner Events.
