Registration has opened for the next meeting of our creative citizenship working group which will take place in Nantes from 1 - 3 October and provide a unique opportunity to discuss the working group's European plans as well as the host city's good practices.
The creative citizenship working group, which focuses on how cities and citizens can co-create solutions for local challenges, will meet to discuss the follow-up of the 'Cities4Europe - Europe for citizens' campaign. These talks will include the citizens panel project that we will coordinate in collaboration with the European Commission and the potential development of a transnational platform for participatory democracy.
The group will also learn more about local good practices and meet Nantes-based stakeholders during study visits.
A public event, 'Democracy in the world', is being held on the evening of 2 October which the group will attend and at which individual members can ask to speak.
