Peer at your peers – Join a CIVITAS SATELLITE exchange this spring

  • mobility

Is your city looking for a short-cut to electric mobility, smarter public transport and cleaner air? Don’t learn the hard way. Cologne and Braga are ready to welcome you for three days of knowledge exchange.

Why go?

If you are interested in improving local mobility, there is no better way to invest your time. These three days of study could save months of work. Time spent in researching options, considering feasibility, correcting errors and going back to the drawing board is a huge chunk of any mobility project.

The CIVITAS SATELLITE three day peer visits are deep interactive learning opportunities where you will bypass unforeseen obstacles and work through the decision making process of other cities. If you have ever learned a language, you know that some knowledge can’t come from studying the literature, you need to talk and interact with those who are advanced in the language already. The same is true for urban mobility.

Clone Cologne
3-5 April 2019

How can you tap into hackathons to improve air quality? What is the optimal way to integrate public transport routes with shared electric mobility options? What are the options and best routes to a zero-emission bus fleet? The secret behind a successful mobility hub? A trip to Cologne can answer all these questions and more.
With some help from the H2020 GrowSmarter project, Cologne has been trialling a range of integrated mobility solutions. Now the city wants to use these trials for the benefit of your city. Are you in?
Take a look at the draft agenda here. To attend, send an email before 4 March 2019 to stating your interest in joining.
