Culture for cities and regions: call for study visit participation open until 9 July

As part of our Culture for cities and regions initiative, we are inviting cities and regions to apply by 9 July to take part in study visits.

As part of the Culture for cities and regions initiative, we are pleased to open the call for cities and regions wishing to take part in one or several study visit taking place from September to December 2015. The call is available online until 9 July.

With this call we invite representatives from local and regional authorities to attend thematic study visits on culture. Visitors from cities and regions will be able to learn from their hosts, and consider whether and how best practice examples can be transferred to other contexts. We also want to build learning communities.

Funding is available to cover for participants' accommodation and travel costs. A Word version of the call is available here. This will allow you to prepare your answers to the questions before completing the online questionnaire.

The study visits will take place between September 2015 and June2016 in: Aarhus, Antwerp, Barcelona, Birmingham, Bologna, Dundee, Helsinki-Espoo, Lodzkie region, Nantes (pictured), North Portugal region, Nord-Pas de Calais region, Regensburg, Sofia, Vilnius and Wallonia region.

Please note that this call only relates to the first five study visits, running from September 2015 to December 2015.

Applications are limited to three preferential choices.

If your city/region wants to apply to several visits, several templates must be filled in.

Only one person per city/region should coordinate the applications to all the study visits.

A second call for participants will be circulated in November 2015 for the other ten study visits running in 2016.
