Aarhus (investing in new generation museums), 10-12 May

Coaching for ten selected cities or regions
Tailor-made coaching events will be organised for ten cities or regions interested in receiving support in planning their local cultural activities. During these events, representatives from ‘learning’ cities or regions will host coaches from another city or region for a period of two to three days and will benefit from their experience. Supported by experts from the Culture for Cities and Regions consortium, these coaching visits aim to facilitate the exchange of expertise and the analysis of local strengths and weaknesses, thereby providing inspiration and new ideas for building sustainable cultural strategies and programmes.
A call will be launched on 18 April (application deadline 20 May). We will be looking for:
ten cities or regions wishing to benefit from coaching in their quest for a fresh perspective and solutions to their local issues. This call will be restricted cities or regions that have already participated in at least one study visit either as hosts or as visitors
a pool of coaches who are working for cities or regions and who are willing to share their knowledge and experience with their peers
Interested cities or regions should specify the role they want to fulfil. Coaching will start in September 2016.
