Cities are invited to take part in a CIVITAS SATELLITE study visit to Cologne from 3-5 April 2019, a valuable opportunity for city representatives to expand their knowledge of (e)public transport policy and projects.
The study visit to Cologne is organised by CIVITAS SATELLITE, which helps cities get better access to innovative mobility solutions and enhance knowledge exchange between cities dealing with similar transport challenges, ultimately improving urban mobility across Europe.
A wide range of topics will be covered, such as efforts to improve air quality through transport measures; public transport, including the city's metro system and 'mobility stations'; Cologne's work within the GrowSmarter smart city project; and look at the city's zero-emission bus fleet and e-mobility infrastructure. There will be presentations on local transport strategy, discussion and networking sessions and site visits.
The draft agenda will be available soon.
