Is your city or town committed to sustainable urban mobility? Then take part in this year's EUROPEANMOBILITYWEEK!

EUROPEANMOBILITYWEEK (EMW) 2015 takes place on 16-22 September. Cities and towns across European and further afield can now register to be a part of this initiative promoting sustainable urban mobility. Upon registering, cities or towns will be asked which of the following options they will be undertaking:

  • Organising a week of activities under this year's multimodality theme: Choose. Change. Combine.
  • Implementing at least one permanent measure that contributes to modal transfer.
  • Organising a car-free day on 22 September.

Those cities or towns that are carrying out all three of these measures will be eligible to apply for the EMW award.

The online registration system for EMW has been completely overhauled, making it simpler to participate. If you are registering for the first time you will need to sign up and provide city information and contacts. The registration form is available in all EU languages.

All participants will be displayed on the EMW cities page, giving great visibility. The page receives an average of 17,500 visits every month.

Last year, 2,013 cities and towns from 44 different countries participated in EMW. Sign up now to be part of the 2015 edition!
