Highlights from the Social Affairs Forum in Gothenburg, 25-26 October 2017

On 25-26 October, the Social Affairs Forum held its autumn meeting in Gothenburg. A record number of 135 participants from over 40 cities, including 20 elected city politicians and representatives of the European Commission and EU-umbrella NGOs, took part in the meeting. They agreed that cities play a key role in delivering on the European Pillar of Social Rights and promoting a stronger social Europe.

EUROCITIES report maps the situation of Roma in cities in Europe

Report on 'Urban agenda for the EU' progress is out

One year after the launch of Urban Agenda for the EU, European Urban Knowledge Network (EUKN) published a report ‘One Year: pact of Amsterdam’ that aims to map the developments and expected impact of twelve priority areas the Urban Agenda is working on.
