Terrassa citizens' panel agrees recommendations on social rights

As part of our Cities4Europe campaign, Terrassa organised a citizens' consultation to develop recommendations, on social rights relating to housing and work, education and migration and governance and participation, which will be sent to the European Commission.

Utrecht signs a strong pledge to combat and prevent homelessness

Today, Utrecht became the 20th city to sign a pledge to the European Pillar of Social Rights. The Deputy Mayor for Social Affairs, Maarten van Ooijen, who is also our vice-chair of the EUROCITIES Social Affairs Forum, signed a strong commitment to principle 19 on housing and assistance for the homeless.
