On Thursday 12 April in Lisbon, Sharing Cities will organise workshops and study visits together with representatives of the 12 lighthouse projects (SC001-H2020 projects).
The study visit will be focussing on the latest developments in Lisbon related to public building retrofit, Sustainable Energy Management System, and E-mobility, within the Sharing Cities programme. This event takes place during Sharing Cities consortium meeting (10-13th April). One tour will be proposed in English, and another one will be held in Portuguese.
In parallel to this event, the Portugal Smart Cities summit is taking place from 11 to 13 April. This event is open to the public and a specific session will be organised by Sharing Cities on 12 April from 10:00 to 13:00. Those registering to the conference can meet speakers from the Sharing Cities programme, such as Nathan Pierce from Greater London Authority, Chair of the 12 lighthouse projects and Director of Sharing Cities, and Rui Franco, Deputy Councillor for Lisbon and many more. It will be also an opportunity to hear more about the Smart Cities Information System (SCIS) to be presented by Nikolaos Kontinakis from EUROCITIES and the European Innovation Partnership on Smart Cities and Communities Business Models Action Cluster by the chair, Bernadett Köteles-Degrendele, EUROCITIES. This event will include a range of smart tech experts and decision makers from across Portugal, business and academia representatives from several scale up cities.
