European Sustainable Energy Week (EUSEW) 2018

This year, the 3-day Policy Conference will take place between 5 June and 7 June 2018 in Brussels. The theme of EUSEW 2018 focuses on 'Clean Energy transition'.

The sessions of the Policy Conference will consist of 45 sessions of 1,5h each and will take place in the Charlemagne building and in the Residence Palace. Several sessions will be organised by stakeholders, while others by various Commission services and half a day will be dedicated to networking in the Residence Palace building. As in previous edition, a networking village made of a "speakers' corner", interactive stands and pitching events will be organised and facilitated also by social media and special networking apps.
In addition to the Policy Conference, the European Sustainable Energy Week 2018 will also include:
-       The Awards Ceremony (5 June) for the Sustainable Energy Awards. In 2018 four categories and citizen's awards have been proposed: Consumers: to reward actions leading to behavioural change of individual energy users; Public sector: to reward public and non-profit organisations taking exemplary initiatives in energy efficiency or use of renewables; Businesses: to reward forward-thinking businesses which are exemplary in their production or use of energy; Young Energy Leaders: to reward local clean energy initiatives projects of young leaders.
-       Non-profit events (Sustainable Energy Days) throughout Europe. The Energy days are organised by stakeholders and can take the form of conferences, games, debates, exhibitions, etc.
