This conference is organised on behalf of the European Commission by a Technopolis Group lead consortium in the context of the study “Cooperation between social economy enterprises and traditional enterprises”, commissioned by the Executive Agency for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (EASME) of the European Commission.
Social economy enterprises and traditional, for-profit enterprises collaborate in many ways. Together, they can co-create value for both partners and become a real source of jobs and social impact in Europe. Yet, the potential of value creation through collaboration between these two types of enterprises is not fully exploited. The conference aims to bring together representatives of social economy enterprises and traditional enterprises, policy makers, stakeholders and representatives of networks and umbrella organisations in order to provide an opportunity to exchange experience and open new avenues for collaboration. The focus will be on maximising social impact from both traditional and new types of enterprises while also discussing the role of collaboration.
The event will take place in the THON HOTEL EU – Rue de la Loi 75, 1040 Bruxelles.
