Over two days, the visiting cities will learn about Bristol`s approach to encouraging active modes of transport in the city and other interesting projects, such as the Temple Quarter Enterprise Zone, one the UK`s largest sustainable urban development. They will also get first-hand experience on some of the initiatives implemented through dedicated on-site visits, for example the MetroBus which is a rapid public transport system. It is designed to quickly transport large numbers of passengers by using a combination of segregated busways and bus lanes.
