The city - a woman's place: be part of this EUROCITIES public event in Brussels

On 20 March we are holding a public event on 'The city - a woman's place' as part of the second EUROCITIES mayors summit. Join us at the Vaudeville Theatre in Brussels from 18:30 to 22:00 to learn how can we make sure that cities are places where women thrive.

The event will take the form of a debate, featuring Anna König Jerlmyr (president of EUROCITIES and mayor of Stockholm), Ada Colau (mayor of Barcelona), Johanna Rolland (mayor of Nantes) and Emily O’Reilly (European ombudsman), and a discussion with the audience and respondents such as Rafal Trzaskowski, mayor of Warsaw.

During the debate, the speakers will share personal stories about how they reached their positions, what helped them and what barriers they had to overcome. As well as discussing these women's achievements and the support they have given to promoting equality, the audience will explore how we can make a difference in the future.

If you're interested in attending the event please register here by 14 March.

If you are a member and have already registered for the summit, you don’t need to register again for this session.
